Cousin got me a BB curve 8310 from Canada, locked on Rogers...

Thought about buying an unlock code from the web, but my mind kept questioning if sites were legit.

Called Rogers BB support line from UK, kept me on hold for ages!

They said that they stopped the service of giving out unlock codes...

Had a look at my phone bill, being a collage student, i cant really afford much, i had to borrow some money from my brother to pay for my phone bill...

Cant even afford to buy a unlock code on the web now, i can barely afford breakfast...

I posted this to warn people, and to see if anyone can help a penniless collage student with a locked blackberry... (probably not)

Yep. No offense but if can't afford a few dollars/pounds for an unlock code, perhaps you should not have a cell phone at all right now.

However, go to the unlocking forum, there are often contests there where you can win one.

Or get a job and save up.
