Is there a way to get more options for the volume of your ringtones?

When I set it to 'Low' it's still really loud! And there's nothing lower than 'Low', well unless I want 'Mute' but I don't want that.

i have the same problem, a few other people have talked about this. From what i've read this may be fixed with the new os update.

Is it an mp3 ringtone? You could transfer the mp3 to your computer and use a free audio editing program called Audacity to lower the volume, save it, and transfer back to your phone.

i have the opposite problem. Ringtones i downloaded from the Crackberry site have become too low to hear--even when I push them up to loud. The factory installed ones are plenty loud. Anyone else experience this?

I am having same issue. The MP3 ringtones I've downloaded for my 8830 are way too low, even on the high setting. Anyone know how to adjust the volume without editing the MP3 then transferring it back to your bb?
