    I accidentally uploaded multiples of the same ringtone. When I try to delete the extras the data gets deleted but the name of the tone stays on my media list.

    are you just deleting it on the phone, or through your pc? Try a battery pull and see if the names are still there afte it reboots.

    It only shows one on the pc. I've been trying to delete from the phone. Tried to reboot with no luck.

    Okay so I figured it out. If this ever happens to anyone else do the following.

    Open Media

    Menu

    Explore

    Device memory

    ringtones

    choose ringtone

    menu

    delete

    then remove battery and reboot
