Ring tone problem (basic?)

I hope that this is a basic fix issue. Thanks in advance for any tips on how to fix it.


No ring tone, vibration only is the issue with my BB. This problem seems to have happened overnight.

My alarm clock didn�t ring this morning. And all calls, messages and e-mails just vibrate.

The �Horn� is highlighted in red, as always.

Volume is turned up; at least I think that it is as I push on the side button.

Is there a way to get into the settings of this phone to change something?

Try a battery pull. Check your settings by profiles>advanced>menu>edit. When your phone does something weird like that the first thing to do is a battery pull.

It worked and I am back to a annoying, but necessary noisy phone.

It will be back...at least if you have 4.5.0.169. That's when it started happening to me. A battery pull helped, but it would randomly start happening again. Roll your OS back to 4.5.127. That is the only thing that worked....
