Need some help trying to figure out if its possible to retrieve pics or differernt files in messenger when u hit the cancel icon mistakenly. Everytime I hit the cancel icon it give an error under the file or image saying Could Not Save File.

You can not retrieve it if you didnt save it. The only thing you can do is look at it in messenger the way it came. To my knowledge.
