I recently broke my curve and got a replacement lastnight, however when i plugged it into my laptop it started to update i guess all the info from my last blackberry and half way through it said fatal error and long story short, i aparently deleted the operating system...so im getting another replacement tonight, how do i just upload my contacts and not delete the current os thats on it...thanks for your help guys?
Im a bit confused here as to how doing a restore on the phone would have deleted your OS. Was the fatal error on the desktop manager, or on the phone end?
im really not sure...during when i plugged it in it started to restore then it gave me a fatal error and stoped the restore..the fatal erro was on the desktop manager and when i unplugged the phone the os was gone...
