I want to reset my bb back to factory settings but want to keep my bbm contacts, how do you do this?

Cannot be done with backing up your device. Then wiping it and restoring what you need.

What you need to do is either save your contacts to your sim or just back up your contacts on bbm.

If you don't have a computer the sim card is the best way for keeping contacts and then going to Options > Security Options > General Settings then click Menu and Wipe Device

VZW does not use sim cards. Contacts cannot be backuped up to AD card that I am aware of
