Reset for Bluetooth

I had a Bluetooth headset I used with my 8330 Curve. It worked fine but I had to return it because is was falling apart. I received a replacement headset that was identical. When I got home I tried to pair it with my 8330, but it wouldn't pair. So, before thinking about it, I deleted the original unit from my 8330. I retried pairing it but it still wouldn't work.

Both headsets are the same model. By deleting the original unit from the 8330, did I permanently prevent the pairing of the new headset, which is the same model?

And, can I reset my 8330 so that it would accept the pairing of the identical headset?
