So today I replaced my housing from the original red sprint to pink. Everything went smoothly and it looks great. The only problem now is that I can bearly hear people talking unless I have it on speaker or on a handsfree device. I pulled it back apart and everything looks fine. I don't get it. I can hear the other person from the two long narrow speaker holes on the top of the phone, but not from the normal speaker on the top of the faceplate.

Anyone else run into this or any suggestions?

You're gonna love this. I did the same thing. Replaced my housing and then couldn't hear through the ear piece.

I took the phone apart again, and discovered that there was a piece of clear plastic that was "protecting" the inside of the screen lens, and continued up, covering the hole for the speaker. As soon as I removed it, the screen was brighter and I could once again hear people talking on the phone.
