After looking at the "How to Free Up Memory" page, I noticed the following in my PC folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8320-v4.5.0.81_P2.7.0.78\Java

    net_rim_theme_102a_icon_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_107_zen_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_114_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_115_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_119_icon_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_120_green_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_125_today_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_125_zen_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_129_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_204_320x240_b.cod

Questions: Are these cluttering up my device (TMo 8320)? If so, can they safely be removed?

    Thanks!

You can, but you need to be VERY CAREFUL. You need at least one theme on your BB, and custom themes rely on the default themes to work correctly.

I wouldn't play too much with them..... they are used and they can mess up the rest of your themes.....

You can remove the carrier themes, but the stock BB Dimension themes must stay, as they are apart of the OS and can cause runnability issues if deleted...

Am I correct in thinking these are other vendor themes? If I have

    net_rim_theme_100_320x240_b.cod
    net_rim_theme_bbdimension_zen_320x240_b.cod

will everything be okay? And is my fantasy that this will save tons of space on my 8320 correct?

Check the link in my sig (memory optimization) there is a section that talks about removing themes - just be careful in which you remove as the folks above you have stated.

Since you seem to be interested in gaining more memory the link will also help you in that regard.

You are literally talking about a few K of memory..........nothing that is affecting the operation of your BB, best advice like many have stated is to simply leave the themes on there.
