How would you go about removing the keypad on the 8310? Is it connected to anything? If you have don it before, please tell me step-by-step how to remove and install the full keypad with the top buttons (the 4 that are next to the trackball). I saw the youtube video and im not talking about the keyboard. Thanks

should be the same that the 8820

remove battery cover
battery
4 tork screws(t8x40)
carefully pry the chromestrips a lil apart
and simply pull the old one out,takes a little skill--little.
clean your old pad with some alch. and put the new keyboard in.
