I'm fairly new at this bb thing - and I have a question regarding the huge array of applications my bb came with. I know how to "hide" them (which only really makes them grey), but I want to get them off of my main page! There are at least 5 of them that I will never use. Can someone please explain to me how to remove these? I've gone into Options/advanced options/applications/ but none of them are listed!

    For example, I don't want:
Flickr, myspace, google talk, windows live messenger, maps (I use google maps), yahoo messenger

    Any help?

Try opening Desktop manager, click Application Loader and under
Add/Remove click start. If any of the apps that you are looking to
remove are in that list, uncheck them and continue through
    to uninstall them.

If they are not in the list then they are probably "pushed" by your
carrier service books and the best you can do is hide them.

To get them off your screen press menu and uncheck Show All
