How do I get emails NOT to go into my general messages folder (text messages) They already go into the designated e-mail folder, I just dont want them to go to two places. Thats kind of annoying and dumb if you think about it.

Can't! You can separate your SMS and Email. While in you messeges hit Menu>Options>General Options, scroll down to SMS and Email inboxes and change to separate.
Also, you can hide the icons you don't want to see, or you can put them in a folder.
Not really dumb if you think about it. If you just want to read your email, BB give you the option. Depends on how you really looking at it. In the msg icon hit the menu button >option >general options and change SMS and email from theme controlled to separate
