I see a message on DM---"After completing the the loading opeartion, you must activate your wirelessly to continuelessly send and receive messages and use other Blackberry services."

Haven't done the actual upgrade the OS yet on Desktop Manager quite yet, as I would like to know about the above.

Don't worry. The DM will turn the radio of the device off, and it's telling you that you'll have to turn it back on, that's all. After the upgrade, dial someones number and press send, it will then ask if you want ot turn on the radio.
