Default Quick question about texting

Hi, I'm going to be getting a new phone (well, new to me at least) to use with the PlatinumTel pre paid service (which I think uses Sprint's network).

I'm looking at the 8330 Curve and have a quick question. I have some pictures on my computer that I'd like to share with people via a MMS message to their phone. Can I connect the phone to the computer via usb, drag and drop the pictures to the phone, then attach those pictures as an MMS?

I assume so, but I don't want to buy the phone to find out I can't. Thanks

I load media files all the time this way. Once you plug the phone into the pc the phone will ask you if it should be recognized as a drive. If you select yes you can just drag files (images) to that folder. Then fire away!

Yes, but be sure that you have a BlackBerry Data Plan with your phone service carrier in order to use MMS.

How many files are you trying to share? There may be an easier way to do this other than sending out mass MMS messages. If people have smartphones then you'll be better off sharing a cloud file share folder with them see: Dropbox - Simplify your life. I find this the most stress frEe and simple way to share various files with multiple people Ota.. You just need their email or carriers so that u can send them the invite via email or text to email (ex. For vzw: 401-123-####@vtext.com) let me know if you can provide more detail about your desired objective and I'm sure the other CB posters and myself can get you up and running in no time.
