Ask T-Mobile, I'm sure they'll say something to the extent of, "Due to the economy being so crappy, we being crappy people decided to jack up our prices to make us more crappy." End quote.

They have been jacking up a lot their prices lately. If you go over to the T-Mobile forum on here there is a thread with a SOC code to get the unlimited data for 19.99 still. You may have to call a few times before finding a Rep that will apply it to your account, but it does work. Several people have reported calling in and having it applied to their accounts successfully.

Pretty much. I haven't tried using it yet, so I'm not sure what department you have to speak with. Retentions may be more hopeful than Customer Service depending on how long you've been with them.

VZW here and yep $30. I had T-mobile way back in the day and realized there prices vs. quanity, even then, were just not what others were! Good Luck on trying the codes!
I was paying the 24.99 for BIS + 400 txt. It sucks to have BIS only on GPRS. I couldn't even download Live Msgr on the first 50 tries. That and horrible coverage in my area is the reason I went back to att and pay $90 for 450 minutes/1000txt/unlimited data on PYP. At least I get great coverage with edge now.
