51 is alot, no need to worry about such things until you get into the 12-15 range from what I read.

The memory will slowly dissipate over time with normal use - not at an alarming rate like a facebook app rate, just slowly but surely. Are you having problems or just wondering?

I asked the same question a while back and I was told it just happens with normal usage. If I am closing out apps properly etc I will still see some slight dips in the overall free memory. Of course I dont even look at it now unless there is an issue but with all the stuff I have installed I run at 28-30 with no issues... As for officially WHY it happens I do not know the exact reason, sure someone will be along to tell you that.. I guess its like a home pc, the more crap you open/close or do it eats a small chunk of memory?

I always wondered that question too lol. I think everytime u open something or click on an icon it takes away a bit of memory. Also, how did u manage to free up over 50000 MBs? I get like 23000 at the most and the only app i have is jivetalk. How can i get 30 apps on mine and still have all that room left??

The 8330 Curve has 1.5 times more RAM memory than the 83XX series (96 MB vs. 64 MB).

Aye that is a good idea if you are interested in gaining more memory, IF you feel you need to. I wish I could be of more help.
