I have a Blackberry Curve 8330. I want to know how to save attachements to the media card instead of to the phone. It wants to save the whole email and not just the attachement. It defaults to the phone and I am running out of space fast. Any ideas? I have mass storage on but it still wants to default to the phone.

    Please help.

    Tom

There's no way to save attachments to the media card. Not yet, anyway. In Rim's implementation of Media Cards, they're used for ringtones, videos, music, and pictures. (That's why Rim calls them Media Cards, even though they're sold as microSD cards.) You can also use one as a memory stick, like a USB disk, using Mass Storage mode, but you can't access those files from the BlackBerry without 3rd party software. You can't run apps from one, yet.

Docs-to-Go, coming with OS 4.5, will address this issue. eOffice, available now, is another 3rd party program that lets you store files on the microSD card.
