    I was thinking about purchasing a used 8310 on ebay and was wondering something. Do I have to have a blackberry data plan or can I just use the phone without email and internet?

    You can use the blackberry without a data plan. Just pop in your sim card and you're good to go.

    I really like its keyboard and I plan to get the data plan just not right now, not enough cash.
