Has anyone found a decent QR reader other than the one supplied by BBM 5.0

I have played around with a couple of the programs out there that can be downloaded on the Curve, but these only really allow you to read QR codes that you generate at their sites. Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried this one? It is pretty much a universal QR code reader. It is also the one I use on my Curve.

I was looking for a reader that would read both QR and UPC codes like on the G1, but it looks like there is yet to be an app developed for BlackBerries. This one just showed up on the CrackBerry home page today. I tried it out and seems to work very well. Edocrab is Barcode Spelled Backwards: BlackBerry App Public Beta Now Open! | CrackBerry.com

It should satisfy your bar code scanning needs!
