Ok, I pulled my battery and when It came back on the ringetone i had and screensaver I had disappeared> media card doesnt work either,tried too format card like it says,it wouldnt let me...Says card is full,its new?!
Make sure everything is absolutely deleted from your card and format it again. Its most likely you used your media card without formatting it when you first installed it into your curve.

Most likely you bumped the card when removing and replacing the battery.
Take the media card out, clean the contacts and reinsert.
