Ok. So I have a list of speeches in MP3 format on my OS 422170 8310.

I have the problem that speech 01 is followed by speech 10 up to 19 then speech 02.

What I have tried so far:

*Renaming using the BB internal explorer file system. Ex: from 28-01 to 2801

*Deleting all that, renaming them all in the Windows Explorer (from 28-01 to 2801), and then importing the newly renamed files (they show up in the playlist with the same name format as before though [28-01]).

    Is the "title" hard-coded somehow?

This is just how the file hierarchy on the BlackBerry works. I do not think you can change it.

Numbers 0XXXXX will come before 1XXXXX which come before 2XXXXX. <<<< NOT CORRECT!

*EDIT* : I did not read the post correctly... and I am wrong about the hierarchy. But the hint I gave would still apply

You can always use the "Find" feature in the Media Player... and type in the first couple numbers... it will bring up the files.

Are you editing the filename or the ID3 headeer inside the mp3 file? Makes a big difference.

Do a Google search for 'ID3 editor'

I would assume that with mp3s the media player is reading the id3 tags for list order. Especially if changing the file names doesn't change the order they are listed in.
