I have two problems using my new Blackberry 8300:

1- The PROFILES icon keeps disappearing. Usually when I reboot, it reappears. Today this will not make it reappear. What's causing this, and what's the solution?

2- I cannot enter or view my Address Book. Clicking the AB icon opens a screen that says "Find:" "Personal" [or Business,] "No Addresses." Entering a name in "Find" opens a screen for entering a "New Address." Yet AB properties says there are 232 contacts. And I can see them in the SIM phone book. What should I do?

to bring back hidden icons, try hitting the menu button (you may have to hit it twice) and then select "show all."

That worked. thanks. I just moved the profile icon to the home page that just shows 5 icons. Hopefully it will stay there. I use this function several times every day. I change it to quiet when entering a meeting.
