I have a 8330 Curve. I have my phone set to lock after 30 minutes of inactivity. When my phone locks and I recieve a call the number will show up but not the name. Obviously when it is unlocked the number and the name show up if they are in my address book.

Is there a setting I can change to allow the persons name to show up when I recieve an incoming call and the device is locked?

I have asked my provider about this twice and looked in the manual, but have had no luck. My friend has the same model and does not have this problem, so I assume it can be changed.

Go into your security options> general setting>include address book should be set to "no"

That will make it show their name along with phone number
