Title says it all, I am having a problem charging a 8300 thru the USB jack on the side, either thru wall, car or USB directly. I need a solution maybe a desk charger or something. Any Ideas?

inexpensive and handy to have around. Unless otherwise stated, you're looking at pods that attach to your charger, and you just set the BlackBerry in the pod. They use the rear contacts on either side of your battery door latch.

Sounds like your USB plug has gone bad, same thing happened to me. You can get a desktop charger, which I did, or if you have insurance you can get a new phone.

This just happened to me about a month ago on the 8330. My quick fix was a motorola razor charger and it seems to charge perfectly again. So maybe if you have one just lying around or a friend has one you could try that.
