Are you certain that you are transferring the file to the memory card and not the device memory?

Yeah its trying to save to the device memory. Check your media card settings and make sure that your BB is recognizing it. Options > Media Card

I'll be honest with you. I hate to use the media manager to transfer my things. I use mass storage mode and drag and drop my songs and videos right onto my media card while connected to PC.

When you have your BB connected to your PC in mass storage mode, the media card will show as a drive in which I believe will be Drive: F

Is your device recognizing your media card? That would show in your media card settings. And as long as mass storage is on, it should recognize. I dont know any other reason why it would not.

Was the media card ever formatted in your BB? In other words, when you are in options>media card it should show used and free space...... some of these larger cards must be formatted by rhe device to get the full functionality of the card....
