    I am new to bberry. Just purchased a bold for me and a curve for wife. Does the curve have the ability to play video's off the internet? Went to youtube, for example, and get error message.

    I can confirm that as well. Mobile you tube works just fine on my curve.

    Mobile youtube should work fine on both devices. The curve depends on the OS it is running, but the bold can definitely play videos offline.

    back at computer again for a few....
    tried m.youtube.com got same error message
    she has a curve 8310 at&t........how do we find out what o/s is on it, and how do we change it if necessary to one that will "work"

    For the Curve you have to Run OS 4.5 to be able to watch mobile youtube

    Plain and simple, in order for her curve to play vids, she needs 4.5, there is a sticky above how to upgrade her OS IF she really wants to watch vids, other pros of upgrading include HTML email also..

    But, read read read, only upgrade if you feel comfortable doing it,
