I downloaded the latest operating system for my Curve 8330 a few weeks back. And now, though I rarely turn my BB off, when I do something odd happens.
WHen I power off and then power back on, say, in the morning I notice that:
1. I am NOT connected to the Verizon wireless network, ie, I cannot make any calls. I look at the home screen and the verizon mobile network is off.
2. The browser is also off and the icon is gone
Yesterday, when this happened, I simply tied to make a call and the phone asked if I wanted to connect to the wireless network I said yes, and boom, on. However, when I went looking for the browser later, the icon was gone. I wound up doing a diagnostic and the browser reappeared but still, this is odd.
Anyone know why this is happeneing and what I can do to stop it from happening? Is this a glitch with the 4.5.0 system?
I've had the same problem with my curve before o moved up to the new .75
I had called up verizon customer support and he basically just had me resend service books and it popped back up on my screen.
Upgrade and you shouldn't get that problem anymore.
