Is there any way to send a SMS using data?

The bb browser seems to block ppl signing in to use their rogers sms and mini opera let's u sign in but an error message occures after u press the send button.

Does anyone know how to get around this? I don't wanna pay for sms

I do not believe there is way to do this. you can send MMS without a picture, this uses data and you can send a larger message

Can every phone receive mms?

Usually, but they have data blocked, or do not have a plan thats covers MMS, it can cost them money this way.
