i have an 8320 from tmobile an di downloaded google maps.it downloaded successfully however when i try to access to application on my bb the whole phone just freezes.i have to turn it off and turn it back then it does the same thing.anybody know how i can fix this?

1, don't "turn it off and turn it back on", but rather, with the BB powered ON, remove the battery, hold for 30 seconds, and replace to reboot the device.

2, you might need to delete the application fully, and reinstall.

But try the first option, first.

i have tried that.still manages to freeze up when i try to launch it.ive been reading that alot of people have been having the same problem.thanks for the attempt though

You fully un-installed and reinstalled and it still does it?

i deleted from the applications list and it did a restart and it wasnt there.then i reinstalled it and it still isnt working

So it freezes... just completely?
Did it ask you to set permissions on installation? Did you say yes to all of them? You need to.

And what version of GMM are you installing... OTA or through the PC?

I really haven't seen this issue much with the Curve, any model of the curve.

i an installing the OTA version.and i said yes to all of the permissions.still seems to freeze
