what is pin sharing. I noticed there was the option to list it under our names and it got me curious. Can you send stuff directly to a specific Pin? I.E Texts emails?
A PIN is the number which identifies each unique device; every Blackberry has a different PIN which is assigned to it. The most common use for your PIN is to allow others to add you to their Blackberry messenger list. Essentially, this is just the native IM program to Blackberries.
The above is all true but PIN messages can also be sent like email messages... Either way they are sent as data and are most certainly not sms messages...
