Good day all,

Correct me if I am wrong, but when I take a picture and send it to a contact on BB Messenger, the picture is resized to about 5 - 10 kb. Is there anyway of sending the picture full size and full quality taken?

In my experience, most carriers limit the size of pictures and will reduce the size to meet the requirement.

BBM reduces them to the size of the screen so they send faster

Yeah! I just tested it with mine and they were resized.

Ok now that we have confirmation that the pics are resized, anyway to get messenger to send the full size pic?

Thanks for the reply, and yes I am aware that they can be emailed, I just asked if the could be sent with Messenger, without being resized.

nopes....
like i said, they resize it for speed, so there aren't outrageous upload times

I have a bold and I get the same problem when recieving a pic via bbm. now when I send a pic to a curve via bbm the picture is full size ... I hate that it does that ... so your telling that there is no magical setting to change the way it recieves pictures????
