Is there a way to add pictures to my bb messenger contacts that I only have their pins or do I need to add them to my address book and then add their pictures... or am i just dreaming lol

Simple answer: NO

You cannot add pictures to messenger contacts. You can, however, add picture IDs for callers in your address book.

This is what I do, I also add my contacts to the address book as a way of backing up the PINs in case something happens. Also, I use the notes to keep track of important conversations or tid bits. And mark there B-days, so I don't have to remember them.
