Heres my problem...

Ive just come to the end of my Orange BB contract with my 8320 and have unlocked it to all networks.

I have inserted my sister Vodafone SIM into it and have achieved making calls fine but I cant see to get the GPRS signal to go in capitals and receive internet. Her plan has internet but not BB specific internet as she cannot use BBM. Her previous phone was a BB and that received the internet signal fine.

The phone was preiviously on a RIM enabled internet plan.

Is it a setting on the phone or something Vodafone have to do?

Without the proper Service Books and the proper BlackBerry Data Plan activated, you will not be able to use BlackBerry Data Features.

She had a BB before though and could get Facebook and stuff but not BBM.

It appears internet is set on her tarrif but it aint cropping up in this BB.

One more time.

The device does not have the proper Service Books on it. Without the proper Service Books on the device, you won't get those feature.

A "generic internet" plan won't work.
