for you long time/heavy curve users, does your trackball still click? like the physical click where you feel it going in when you press it? for heavy use on the curve and i mean where i use my curve every 5 minutes would the trackball soon wear down till the point where i can't feel the click no more?
I have a 8830, the trackball it the same. I've had it for almost 2 years and it still click like new. I have changed the trackball a few time but there is a little metal contact under the trackball that makes the click. You should take out your trackball and look at that.
mine still works fine. i'm just curious if its gonna wear out later down the road? i am a heavy user and very paranoid with my curve having a dysfunctional part down the road. with the 3 year contracts that i have with rogers i can't afford buying a new bb at full price.
