So I bought my first Blackberry on Sunday after using a RAZR since they first arrived on the market. My Blackberry is a Curve 8310 and it�s frustrating me to no end when it comes to personalizing it. I want to personalize my boyfriends� ringtone and message received status. He works at an authorized AT&T store and was able to show me how to personalize the ringtone but doesn�t know how to personalize the message received status. I�ve already looked up this question on the crackberry forums and tried what was suggested but it�s just not working. SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE.

That is exactly the one I used. I created the new profile and the exception. I edited the messages and ringtone so they were the same thing and asked my boyfriend to text me and it was still using the contentment noise.
