I have a 8330 verrizon carrier.
My pc does not detect my bb. It will detect other bb's when connected. My bb is set to identifiable. I have tested the usb cable,port etc all checks out fine. I have re installed bb desk top manager. I have tried a hard restart on the phone. I have tried to connect my bb to another pc with desktop manager but it will not detect it either. I have gone through several forums without a solution. Any assistance is appreciated.
Do you have the correct version of the OS for your model installed on the PC? Does the BlackBerry react at all when plugged in?
You may need to wipe the device and try loading the OS from scratch, following the instructions for reloading a nuked BlackBerry located in the FAQ forum. Sorry I don't have the link handy.
Anyone else have a less drastic solution?
