I have set a password on my device, which I use regularly. I have not synched my Curve lately, so I went to do that tonight & my PC asked for the password. It doesn't work. Do the device and the Blackberry Desktop Manager have different passwords? If so, how can I find out what the Desktop Manager password is? I am pretty sure I used the same password for both...

I don't want to wipe the device, so I didn't use all of my 10 tries. And no, my Caps Lock is not on.

Interesting... I remembered back when I had a password on my 7100g, the password for the DM was the same I set my BB password to be. Now I have a curve so I don't know, but I'm pretty that is still the case, DM has to verify the password set on the bb.

I used the password for awhile too and the password was the same for DM. If it's not working you can disable the password long enough to synchronize it.

I didn't like having to put the password in so many times, so I stoped using it.

The passwords are the same, you may have entered it incorrectly.
