I have a password set for my blackberry curve 8330 and I was wondering about the password attempts. If I enter the wrong password 10 times then the phone will erase... Now, If I enter this password 9/10 times wrong, is there a way to reset it back to 1? For instance, disabling the password and re-enabling it?

If you enter it wrong 9/10 and then on the 10th try, enter it correctly, it automatically resets back to 1 after you look it again. The 10 attempts is per unlock, not the total amount.

    K, thanks.

So once I enter the password correctly, it resets back to 1 automatically.
