I would run the 4.5.0.131 OS as stated in the above post, lots are saying this is a great update and very stable, if it's anything like the .131 version for the Pearl, you will love it...
I've had mine updated now for a week, and I love the capabilities gained, and the terrific loss of those doggone preloaded pics.
So far, very stable, and I'm still finding nice little tweaks. Now, even with a bunch of apps, I still manage with 49MB vs. 41 or less. Hoppy, very hoppy!

Yes, it's the current OS from Sprint, delete the Vendor XML file after you download the OS and it will load right up, perfectly. OS's are device specific, not carrier. It will work like a charm on your VZW Curve...
