I tried to upgrade to the latest leaked OS .153 and got a 561 error, and then could not connect to my BB. I'm currently using the stand alone app loader to get running again and then restore and reload 3rd party apps.
This has been a problem for me for a while. My camera and video camera stopped functioning, and when I downgraded to .81 from .124 to see if that would fix the camera (it didn't), when I tried to upgrade back to .124 I got a 507 error and had to do the whole reload process.
It's clear to me that I need a clean slate, and then rebuild my installation one step at a time, such as syncing to Outlook rather than do a restore, and reload apps one by one.
So what's the best way to wipe my BB clean, and what does everyone recommend as a starting OS. I'm think of starting at OS 4.2 and moving up from there.
