I haven't tried the lastest build on my 8310 (4.5.0.18)
On the 8320, it was great. Lately though, I've noticed a lot of "searching for network" messages.
Pros:
Clean email/text
Great video/voice recording (you can save the voice recordings on the device rather than sending it to yourself.)
Youtube works! (I don't use it though, Lol.)
Cons:
Don't really have any, except the memory leaks not being corrected.
Also what I stated above with the 8320.
Dd you end up going back to your old OS? Do you personally think it is worth it to upgrade to OS 4.5 on my AT&T Curve?

I installed beta on my 8310 and it worked great except my phone is no longer connecting with GPS....any suggestions? Ive already done a battery pull, a complete wipe and reinstall all to no avail..
Installed it and it worked fine. I noticed the radical drops in signal immediately but not enough to stop using it. I was really digging the OS enhancements (especially the cool new font!). However, the memory leak was pretty bad.
I ended up going back to 4.2. IMHO, it's not worth it unless you really have to check it out for yourself. Can't wait for it to actually be released though!

When you say complete wipe... Did you use JL_CMDR or you did it through Security Options --> General Options? If it's the second, that's not a complete/true wipe of the device.

Oh ok, I wiped it using the second way. Can you lay out for me how to dl JL_CMDR and use it or point me to a thread that can help me? Also what should I do once I do a "true" wipe? I appreciate all the help thanks!
BTW I tried resending the service books, didn't work.
I tried 4.5 on both my 8310 and on my 8100. In both cases, there were problems. The 8310 continually rebooted at random intervals and the 8100 slowed down incredibly.
Both my phones are unlocked and I have a second SIM card. This meant that I could have a test phne with 4.5 whilst my real phone never ran 4.5 for more than an hour or so.
I liked the features of 4.5 but for me, at least, it was not a pleasant experience.
Thanks Jayden, I've downloaded JL_CMDR, and unzipped it, however whenever I double click the icon to run it, a window pops up for a second and disappears...I can't for the life of me figure it out.
So i have done a complete wipe with JL_CMDR and then reloaded the OS on to my phone. The GPS satellite is now working when I refresh it. However now I am having a whole new set of problems with Telenav 5.1 and ATT Navigator. Any suggestions?

And what are those problems you are having, to which you would like suggestions?
