I've currently got V4.2.2.176 on my 8310 was jus wondering if I phone T-mob up n ask 4them2 send me the newest OS would they? N wot version wud it b any ideas? Thankz!

I doubt they would do that. When they have a new OS available they will put it on thier download site.

I have just done this upgrade today on my T-Mobile 8310.

To download this onto your BB you would need to remove the vendor.xml file first.

thanks every1. ive just had a look on the t-mob website n the latest OS theyve got is V4.2.2.176 which is what ive already got. when they get the newer 1 will they put it on the website? im just not 2sure about downloading it from off here dont want anything to mess my phone up!

Your device OS is not provider specific. You can install any 8310 OS worldwide on your device without voiding your warranty. Therefore you do not have to wait on T-Mo to post the link on their site, you can use the OS posted above. The OSes are all basically the same from provider to provider with only minor variances in them.
