Just got my Curve, I love it. Anyhow I downloaded the Opera Mini Browser which I prefer over the regular internet browser. Is there a way to set this as my default browser? I got a picture message this morning and thru my SMS inbox there was a URL which led me to the regular old internet browser. Please help!

Open the default browser. hit Menu>options>General Options> and change the default browser to mini

Hm, tried that. For some reason my only option is to choose the default browser. Opera isnt on the list.

That is where it should be. Hang in there, someone will come along and help out. I personally so not use opera. No settings in Opera for the setting as default?

Oh... I was gonna say you couldn't make Opera the default browser. I must be wrong...

No there isn't any settings in Opera either for that. Weird. i'll keep looking around and see if I can find anything.

I have the same issue. I can't seem to change the default to opera either, when in options it doesn't give me a way to change it to opera.

You cannot set Opera to the default browser. Even when using Opera it will use the default browser...

I DL opera mini for my home PC. I love it. It didn't work out for me on the berry. Wouldn't let me press the menu button.
