First I want to say how happy I am with my new curve (first bb). The advice in this forum has been a tremendous help. Have a newbie question. Is there a way to find out what applications are currently running (i found out a few times i had not closed out of an application).

hold alt and the escape key. there are 5 or 6 apps that are always running depending on your carrier

Or you can use Menu> Menu again > switch Application.
It is a good idea when you are through with an application, to use the Menu Key, then scroll down to close instead of using the Return Key.
