I don't know about the curve, but my 8830WE wiped everything including texts and call logs when my memory was too low.

gah. mines like... 7,211,472. that's ****ing awful. but it actually jumps around all day. like one minute it's up above 13 and then it's below 8. what gives?

BlackBerry's have memory leak problems for one, and it will vary depending on what the system is doing, or what programs you have running for another.

it will also vary based on how many calls you have in your log and messages on the phone don't use the switch application option it kills your memory
