Is there some type of free media player application I need to download in order to be able to watch videos on youtube on my curve? Whenever I go the the site everything works fine until I click the "watch video" link and all that plays is fuzz/snow? I have a 4GB memory card installed (not sure if that helps?) I don't have a desktop so hopefully there is something I can do to be able to watch videos on my curve without using desktop manager? Also, is there anyway to get the youtube icon to show up on my homescreen?

What version are you running.. 4.2 4.5?

You can only watch vids using 4.5 Im pretty sure.. and no, like I said yesterday, there is no icon for the mainscreen, or I havnt found one yet,

How many vids have you tried watching?

I'm using the 4.5 and all I get is fuzzy youtube vids too.

no www in there..
http://m.youtube.com is what i use.

hmm thats the right one then, i know some people have tried the normal www. one, and it doesn't work. not too sure whats going on. Might be a youtube problem

I didn't know if you were running 4.5 os or 4.2. 4.5 allows streaming video for the curve

you get html email, video recording, watch steaming video, faster browser and a few other things. I'll leave the decision of worthiness up to you If you don't like you can always downgrade

I'm using 4.3 and it works fine for me. Curve 8330.

You can watch YouTube on 4.3 without any problems. No need for CDMA users to upgrade just to view YouTube.
