not charging

my charger is broken the lil silver piece inside is lose and bad ... no connection is being made? is there a way around this besides sending it in and making an insurance claim? and can a local verizon store fix the prob?

Is the charger broken, or the port on tour phone?

If it's charger, Amazon.com has them cheap. If it's the charger port, order a charging pod for your Curve to charge it using the rear contacts. They are abour $6. Get a spare battery while you're at it, about $6 more.

You can't update or backup your device with a broken port, but at least you can charge it. BBrepairshop repairs ports for about $80.

isnt it still possible to update/backup via bluetooth?
