I bought a BB curve 8310 and get it home and no video camera! WTF? My friends have a 8310 and theres has one!

I have an 8310 from AT&T and it has video. It's a little different to get to. You have to go to media, go to videos, all videos and then scroll up to video camera and select. It's there....

What is your os found under options about ? If its 4.2 you need to upgrade to 4.5 to have the video camera

i believe the only curve to come out of the box with a camera was/is the 8330 from verizon. A few friends had this a few months ago and they had a video camera option. oh yeah and they had the 4.5 os, just look at the sticky section to help you out.

got an 8310 in may, no video camera. upgraded to 4.5 in september, voila, video camera!!

You'll also need a media card for the Video Camera to work.

I just upgraded to 4.5 and see the camera, I'm just waiting to purchase a media card for it work-

i have a curve 8310 with a media card but the camerta does not work ...it says "failed to start recording" anyone know what thats about?
