I was taking a picture and the screen went blank. Did a battery pull to restart and now the phone has no service. I did a full erase using MFI 1.8 (now it is unlocked as well) and upgraded the OS to the latest release(.55 and now.124) (from 4.2). Camera still gives me an error but the phone does not freeze, but I can't get a signal. Tried the sim on a different phone and it works just fine.
Mrs. Powernoodle's Bold did that after BB tech support had me format, reinstall and so forth. Go to options>mobile network>, turn the data service on and hit save. See if that does it.
I Tried that, but the phone starts searching for a network and finds nothing (while the same sim card does find the network in another phone). Tried manual/automatic modes for network. Is it possible that the camera and the antenna are somehow related??????????? because everything else works just fine.
